Either start over and extract the zip contents directly to the Modules folder or move the mod folder that is one level too deep up to the root of the Modules folder. If you have to open more than one folder before you see the Data folder, you probably created an extra level. Check to ensure you can open Modules/Your New Mod and see a Data folder one level deep. Most m ods need to be extracted directly to your Modules directory. Try that and see if your mod is detected. If it contains just one folder, you probably need to copy that folder into the Modules folder. You can check whether you have done this by opening the extracted folder and seeing if it contains multiple items or just a folder. The most common mistake people make is they extract the mod to a folder inside another folder.
